- There has not been any legislative action on bills that the NJCM has previously reported on in the September or October issues of the Conference Courier. Two bills are scheduled to be heard Thursday, November 15 that may be of interest to Mayors. They are as follows: S-1090 (VanDrew) Authorizes mayors to veto proposed actions of municipal authorities and S-1740 (Rice) Allows municipalities to require mortgage lenders to maintain vacant residential properties during foreclosure.
