Belmar Mayor Matt Doherty hosted the first Mayors Day at the Beach on Saturday, July 8 in the Taylor Pavilion. The event, arranged by the New Jersey Conference of Mayors and sponsored by Jersey Central Power and Light, attracted Mayors and guests from throughout the state.
Attendees enjoyed a catered lunch and had the opportunity to enjoy the beach and ocean. Both candidates for governor, Kim Guadagno and Philip Murphy, attended the event as well.
